The Investor Portfolio of Securities (IPS) Account enables Allied Bank customers to invest in Government of Pakistan (GoP) securities, including T-Bills and PIBs, as permitted by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). This service is available to all ABL clients holding a PKR Current or Savings Account.
As per SBP guidelines, all banks can offer IPS accounts to their customers, allowing them to buy and sell GoP securities. ABL facilitates this by providing IPS account services to all eligible clients.
To open an IPS account:
Customers must have a PKR Current/Savings Account with ABL.
If not already an account holder, The client must first open a PKR Current or Savings Account with ABL before proceeding to open an IPS account.
