Allied Bank has introduced yet another industry first service “Temporary Limit Enhancement Facility” whereby ABL Debit cardholders are enabled to temporarily enhance their debit card daily transactional limits instantly to fulfill their urgent financial needs.
This service is available to all ABL Debit Cardholders 24/7 in self-service mode using any ABL ATM, CCDM or Cash Recycler Machine using biometric verification flow.
- All ABL debit cardholders are eligible to avail this service.
- Temporary limit will be enhanced by 100% (double the standard limit).
- The service is available for following transaction types;
- ATM – Cash Withdrawals
- ATM – Funds Transfer (FT/IBFT)
- Retail – POS & Online Shopping
- Customers can avail this service for any or all above transaction types once in a day.
- Enhanced limit will be available immediately and will be valid for same day till 12:00 AM (midnight).
- Fee will be applicable as per bank schedule of charges
- This service can be subscribed through any ABL ATM, CCDM or Cash Recycler Machine by invoking Biometric verification flow. Biometric verification flow can be invoked by touching ATM screen or pressing any button.

Q: How long will temporarily enhanced limit be applicable on my debit card once subscribed?
It will remain applicable till 12:00 AM (midnight) on the same calendar day when it is subscribed.
Q: Can I subscribe for temporary limit enhancement more than once in a single calendar day?
No, the limit for one transaction type can be enhanced only once in a single calendar day. However, customer can avail this service for all three transaction types once in a day.
Q: If I have already utilized some amount from my default daily transaction limit and then subscribe for limit enhancement, what will be the total transaction amount I can avail till 12:00 AM?
The amount you have already utilized before service subscription will be excluded from ‘New Limit After Enhancement’ amount.
Example: You have VISA Premium debit card and had withdrawn Rs. 400,000/- from ATM on 10-Oct-2022 before 11:00 AM. You subscribe for temporary limit enhancement service for ATM cash withdrawal transaction on 10-Oct-2022 at 11:10 AM. Now the remaining daily limit will be Rs. 600,000/- till 12:00 AM midnight.
Q: Can I subscribe for limit enhancement service if my available account balance is less than the applicable Fee + FED for temporary limit enhancement?
No, there must be sufficient balance available in your account at the time of subscribing the service.
Q: If I have multiple ABL debit cards on different ABL accounts, can I subscribe for limit enhancement service on multiple cards?
Yes, you can avail limit enhancement facility on different ABL debit cards you have.
Q: Can I claim for reversal of limit enhancement subscription fee if I did not utilize any amount from the enhanced transactional limit?
No, subscription fee cannot be reversed once limit enhancement transaction was successful.
