Who is eligible for the program? Can I apply?

Yes, you can apply for the program if you meet the following criteria.

  • Valid CNIC
  • Electricity Bill in Your Name: The electricity bill for your residence should be registered in your name, indicating that you are the owner of the electricity meter.
  • Timely Payment History: You should not have more than four delayed payments in your electricity bills over the past 24 months. Current consumer of Electric Power Supplier/ DISCO including the green meter holders, at least for last 24 months .
  • Registered SIM: You must apply using a SIM card that is registered against your CNIC.

How do I apply for the Fan Replacement Program via Allied bank?

Access the Application Portal:

  • Visit the official program website: https://efan.gov.pk
  • Alternatively, download the mobile application (PM Fan Replacement Program) from the Android or Apple App Store.
  • Sign Up and Check Eligibility:
    • Fill out the application form by providing your CNIC and electricity bill details.
    • The system will automatically verify your eligibility and inform you of the financing limit available for fan replacement.
    • Select Allied bank as preferred bank of financing.
  • Select and Order Fans:
    • Choose the number of energy-efficient fans you wish to install, matching the number of inefficient fans currently in use at your premises.
    • After placing the order, the selected fan manufacturer will schedule a visit to your residence to replace and install the NEECA-labelled 5-star energy-efficient fans.
  • Confirm Installation: After the installation and payment of the installation fee to the fan manufacturer, confirm the successful installation through online Portal. https://efan.gov.pk/

What is on-bill financing?

On-bill financing is a convenient repayment method where the cost of the new energy-efficient fans is added to your monthly electricity bill. This allows you to pay for the fans in easy installments without the need for separate loan arrangements. You can choose a repayment period ranging from 6 to 18 months, depending on your preference and eligibility.

I don’t have an electricity connection in my name. Can I apply?

No, only individuals whose names are registered on the electricity bill are eligible to apply for the program. This requirement ensures that the applicant is the rightful account holder and responsible for the electricity consumption at the premises.

If l own multiple properties, can I apply for a replacement fan for each property?

No, each applicant (identified by their CNIC) can submit only one application for one residential property and can avail multiple fans with in your qualified limit. If you own multiple property, you should select the one that meets the eligibility criteria and where replacing inefficient fans would result in the most significant energy.

Is installation included in the fan financing?

No, installation charges are separate from the fan financing. You are required to pay the installation fee directly to the fan manufacturer at the time of installation. The charges are as follows:

* PKR 1000 for the first fan.

* PKR 800 for each additional fan installed at the same premises.

Which delivery address will be followed for fan replacement?

The delivery and installation of the new fans will be carried out at the address mentioned on your electricity bill. It is important to ensure that the address on your bill is accurate and complete to avoid any issues during delivery and installation.

Can I apply if I am a tenant?

No, only the owner of the residential property (Registered customers of Discos) is eligible to apply. Tenants are not eligible for the program.

Can I apply if my electricity bill is in someone else’s name?

No, the electricity bill must be in the applicant’s name.

How long do I need to have been a customer of the electricity supplier to qualify?

You must be a current consumer of an Electric Power Supplier including green meter holders, for at least 24 months.

How will the installment payments be made?

The cost of the new energy-efficient fans will be divided into equal monthly installments, which will be added to your electricity bill. This on-bill financing method allows for seamless and hassle-free repayments over a period of 6 to 18 months, depending on your chosen plan.

How do l track the status of my application and fan delivery?

You can track the real-time status of your application and fan delivery through Online Portal https://efan.gov.pk/ and mobile application (PM Fan Replacement Program).

How do I know if my application is successful?

Once your application is submitted and approved, you will receive a confirmation SMS (OTP) and an update through the portal. If any issues arise during the process, the Customer support team ([email protected]) will assist you in resolving them.
