IDENTITY DOCUMENTS:
An attested photocopy of any one of the following valid identity documents, invariably attested by a Gazetted Officer / Nazim / Administrator, or an officer of the Bank after original seen, shall be obtained for opening the accounts of Pakistani Nationals / Overseas Pakistanis / Foreign Nationals of Pakistani Origin.
Identity documents required for opening accounts of Pakistani Nationals / Overseas Pakistanis / Foreign Nationals of Pakistani Origin:

Valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) issued by NADRA

Valid Smart National Identity Card (SNIC) issued by NADRA

Valid National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) issued by NADRA (It is a mandatory requirement for all Pakistanis working/residing abroad and holding dual nationality)

Valid Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP) issued by NADRA (It is a mandatory requirement for all Pakistanis working/residing abroad and holding dual nationality)

Valid Pakistan Origin Card (POC) issued by NADRA to Foreign Nationals of Pakistani Origin

Valid Form-B (CRC) / Juvenile Card (for Pakistani citizens who are minors)
Note: An account of a major person will not be opened on the basis of a “Juvenile Card”, irrespective of its validity.

[1] The above-stated process applies to Saving Account opening in Islamic Banking. For Current Accounts, NCLA is not required. The rest of the process remains the same.
[2] In case the BM is not available at the branch, BSM will authorize the eKYC.
