- Before making first time payment through NIFT ePay & PayFast, each customer needs to call Allied Phone Banking from their registered number to activate this service after providing verification. This service can be activated for any timeframe as per customer’s convenience.
- For verification of each payment, customer will receive 6 digits OTP (One Time Password) through SMS on their registered mobile number. Please remember not to share this OTP with anyone.
- Against each successful payment, ABL will send free confirmation SMS on customer’s registered mobile number

Important: In case your NIFT ePay & PayFast Service is not active, please call Allied Phone Banking at (021) or (042) 111-225-225 and request to activate NIFT ePay & PayFast service on your account. To avoid this step for every transaction, please request service activation for longer time period.
Shop on your desired e-commerce merchant’s website and upon checkout, select NIFT ePay or PayFast as payment option (in case NIFT ePay & PayFast are not available in payment options, select any of the below mentioned payment aggregators)
- Select Allied Bank from the list of banks.
- Enter your bank account number & CNIC number.
- Click “Send OTP” to receive 6 digits OTP on your registered mobile number through SMS.
- After entering 6 digits OTP, transaction will be completed and you will receive a confirmation message from the bank on your registered mobile number.

Answer: NIFT ePay is a payment platform introduced by National Institutional Facilitation Technologies (NIFT) for providing quick, secured and adaptable e-commerce transactions.
PayFast is also a robust payment platform introduced by Avanza Premium Payment Services (APPS).
NIFT ePay & PayFast both support variety of e-commerce merchants where ABL customers can conveniently conduct e-commerce transactions directly using bank account number without any debit or credit card.
Q2: Eligible Customer for NIFT ePay & PayFast e-commerce Service?
Answer: All individual accountholders or Joint accountholders with either or survivor marked as operating instructions are eligible for NIFT ePay & PayFast e-commerce Service.
Q3:Does customer need to have a Debit or Credit Card to conduct transaction on NIFT ePay & PayFast?
Answer: No, NIFT ePay & PayFast e-commerce service does not require card information. It only requires customer to provide Account Number and CNIC Number. Customer will receive an OTP on registered mobile number to authorize transaction.
Q4: How does customer activate / deactivate NIFT ePay & PayFast e-commerce service?
Answer: Customers are required to call Allied Phone Banking at (021) or (042) 111-225-225 and request agent for NIFT ePay & PayFast e-commerce service activation/deactivation.
Q5: Does customer need to set a PIN for NIFT ePay & PayFast transactions?Answer: Unlike Debit Card, customer is not required to set a PIN (personal identification number) for NIFT ePay & PayFast transactions. But to ensure security parameters, Bank will be sending an OTP (One Time Password) to customer, every time customer attempt to make a payment using NIFT ePay & PayFast.
Q6:For how long customer can keep session activated?
Answer: In line with customer’s convenience, NIFT ePay & PayFast is a time-based e-commerce service and will remain activated till the end of period requested by the customer.

Allied Bank Customers can proceed with NIFT ePay & PayFast payments at any website where they see NIFT ePay & PayFast as payment option at checkout.
Moreover, NIFT ePay is integrated with various payment aggregators like KEENU, Safepay, Blinq, Skoolify, Front Pay and Haball. Therefore, websites where NIFT ePay and PayFast are not available in payment options, customer can make NIFT ePay payment by selecting any of above-mentioned payment aggregators.
Q8:When will be customer account debited?
Answer: After authentication of OTP, customer account will be debited and funds will be transferred to respective payment account.
Q9:How many attempts are allowed to input wrong OTP?
Answer: Customer will be allowed to enter wrong OTP three times. On third attempt of wrong input of OTP, the transaction will be cancelled.
Q10: Dispute lodging incase payment is deducted from account but order not processed successfully.
Answer: In case of any issue wherein customer account is debited but the order is not processed successfully, customer is required to reach Allied Phone Banking at (021) or (042) 111-225-225 and log complaint regarding same. Funds will be reversed to customer’s account after due verification.
