A Raast ID is your mobile number that you can link to your bank account. Instead of sharing your full bank account number, you can simply share your Raast ID to receive payments directly into your linked account. It simplifies the process of receiving funds, and you can share just one number instead of sensitive account details.

  1. Do I need a bank account to use Raast?

Yes, you need an active bank account to use Raast. Your bank account will be linked to your Raast ID, and you will receive money in this account.

  1. Do I need to register a Raast ID to use Raast?

You need to register a Raast ID only if you want to receive payments via your mobile number. If you are not registered on Raast, you can still receive payments through IBAN (International Bank Account Number).

  1. How can a customer transfer funds using a Raast P2P QR code?

Following are the steps to perform Raast P2P transactions through QR:

  • Log in to your myABL app.
  • Tap on QR Scan on the home page.
  • Scan the sender’s QR code or upload it from your phone gallery.
  • Select RAAST Transfer.
  • Verify the customer details and the transaction amount.
  • Tap Continue.
  • Enter your TPIN and tap Transfer.
  • A confirmation screen will be displayed. You will receive an SMS or email on your registered mobile number/email confirming the transaction.
  1. Can I change the bank account linked to my RAAST ID?

Yes, you can change the bank account linked to your RAAST ID. To do this, you will need to de-link your current bank account and link a new account to your RAAST ID.

  1. How do I register on Raast?

To register on Raast, you can follow the following steps:

  • Login myABL app/internet banking
  • Click on Raast > Manage Your Raast Id
  • Select an account to link with your Raast Id
  • Click on Link Raast Id.
  • Click on

  1. Can I register multiple Raast IDs or link multiple accounts to my Raast ID?

No, you can only register one Raast ID with one bank account. You cannot link multiple bank accounts to a single Raast ID. However, you can de-link your Raast ID from one bank account and link it to another if needed.

  1. Can remittances be received on RAAST?

No, Remittances can’t be received through RAAST.

  1. If a Beneficiary has deleted their Raast ID, will the transaction be successful?

No, the transaction will be rejected if the beneficiary has deleted their Raast ID​

  1. Can I modify or delete my Raast ID?

Yes, you can delete as well as re-register your RAAST Id. To do so, go to the RAAST Id Management section in myABL.

  1. Can Raast be used for international transactions?

No, Raast is currently only available for domestic transfers within Pakistan. International transfers are not supported via Raast at this time.

  1. What should I do if I send the funds via RAAST ID however the beneficiary didn’t receive the funds and the same debited from my account?

If you have sent the funds via RAAST ID and the funds have been deducted from your account but the beneficiary has not received the funds, please contact Allied Phone Banking at 042-111-225-225 or submit a complaint through the Allied Bank website for prompt assistance.
