This feature provides a detailed view of your expenditures by categorizing your transactions. It includes:

  • 12 default spending categories, each with 4 sub-categories

  • Option to create up to 10 personalized categories for custom tracking

Transaction View

(Hamburger Menu > PFM > My Spending)
See how your transactions are categorized. Initially, all entries appear as “Uncategorized” until manually tagged.

Assign/Change Category:
(Hamburger Menu > PFM > My Spending > Action: Edit)
Update categories anytime to better reflect your expense types.

Split Transactions:
(Hamburger Menu > PFM > My Spending > Action: Split)
Divide a single transaction into multiple categories for accurate tracking.

Manage My Categories

  • Add Category:
    (Hamburger Menu > PFM > My Spending > Manage My Categories > Add)
    Create new custom categories or sub-categories.

  • Edit Category:
    (Hamburger Menu > PFM > My Spending > Manage My Categories > Action: Edit)
    Modify existing categories as per your preferences.

(Main Menu > PFM > My Budgets)

This tool allows you to allocate monthly budgets to specific expense categories.

  • Set My Budget:
    (Hamburger Menu > PFM > My Budgets > Set My Budget)
    Assign budget limits to various categories on a monthly basis.

  • Modify My Budget:
    (Hamburger Menu > PFM > My Budgets > 3-dots: View/Modify)
    Track and adjust your budgets as needed.

  • Delete My Budget:
    (Hamburger Menu > PFM > My Budgets > 3-dots: Delete)
    Remove budgets that are no longer relevant.

Analyze your financial habits through dynamic visual reports and budget comparisons.

Spending Analysis

  • My Spending:
    View your expenses via an interactive donut chart.
    Filters include:

  • Spending categories

  • Time periods (e.g., this month, last 60/90 days, last year)

Budget vs. Spending

Compare actual spending against your set budgets through easy-to-read graphical reports.
Time-based filters provide flexible views for better analysis.
