The Bank was awarded the prestigious title of Pakistan’s Best Bank for CSR 2021 by Asiamoney, a leading global financial publication. This marks the second time ABL has received this honor, having first won the award in 2018.
The recognition by Asiamoney highlights Allied Bank’s unwavering commitment to societal welfare, particularly in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
COVID-19 Response and Health Contributions
Asiamoney praised ABL’s significant contributions during the pandemic, especially the Rs. 10 million in Covid-related medical support extended to its employees and their dependents. This amount was in addition to the Rs. 100 million the Bank allocates annually for employee health benefits. Overall, ABL’s health spending doubled compared to 2019, reinforcing its commitment to employee well-being and community health.

Alongside this accolade, Allied Bank was also recognized with the prestigious title of ‘Bank of the Year 2021 – Pakistan’ by The Banker, further solidifying its position as one of the leading financial institutions in the country.
