Allied Bank is proud to announce the launch of its K2 Expedition 2024, a pioneering initiative that combines the spirit of mountaineering with a powerful message of environmental responsibility. A dedicated team of 14 members will undertake this expedition with a dual purpose: to reach the base of K2 and to conduct a comprehensive cleanliness drive at the site.
The pre-departure ceremony served as the formal launch of the initiative and reflected ABL’s unwavering dedication to sustainability and climate change awareness. The team, united by a shared commitment to protecting the planet, emphasized the urgent need to conserve our natural environment.

At the ceremony, Mr. Gill presented the Allied Bank flag to the expedition team, which will be hoisted at the K2 Base Camp alongside the national flag—a symbol of both achievement and advocacy.
