Categories: News Updates

Allied Bank has partnered with the UK Government’s Chevening programme, becoming Pakistan’s first locally funded Chevening Scholarship partner. Formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony involving Allied Bank and the British High Commission Islamabad, the partnership will support Pakistani scholars in pursuing postgraduate education in the United Kingdom.

Under the Allied Bank Chevening Scholarship partnership, two Pakistani scholars will be supported annually over three academic years, beginning with the 2027–28 academic year. The scholarships will enable them to pursue fully funded master’s degrees at leading UK universities.

The collaboration brings together Allied Bank’s commitment to educational advancement and Chevening’s focus on developing future leaders. It establishes an opportunity for Pakistani scholars to access higher education internationally and develop knowledge and skills that can contribute to the country’s long-term progress.

Through its support for postgraduate study, the initiative aims to strengthen the connection between educational opportunity and leadership development. The partnership reflects the role of investment in people in supporting Pakistan’s future.

Allied Bank remains committed to advancing education and empowering future leaders through initiatives that create opportunities for lasting national development.
