It is an exclusive card for Allied Senior Citizen Account holders offering discounts on hospitalization charges and lab services.

No, the Medical Health Card is provided free of cost.

Q7: Is activation required for the Medical Card?

No, activation is not required.

Q8: Does the card have an expiry?

No. It remains valid as long as the account is maintained with Allied Bank.

Q9: What are the discounted lab services?

By presenting the Medical Health Card at specified labs, customers can avail discounts.

Q10: What is the limit on the Health Card?

There is no monetary limit—only percentage-based discounts apply.

B. Accidental Life Insurance

Q13: What is the eligibility for Accidental Life Insurance?

Opening a Senior Citizen Account is the only requirement.


C. In-Hospitalization Insurance

Q14: When will hospitalization claims not be entertained?

Claims will be rejected in cases of:

  • Criminal activity

  • HIV-related illness

  • Hazardous occupations or extreme sports

  • Suicide

  • War or similar operations

Q15: How many hospitalizations are covered?

Up to 30 days per hospitalization.
No cap on the number of hospitalizations in a year.

Q16: Which hospitals accept this card?

Reimbursement is offered, so services can be availed at any hospital.

Q17: What is the reimbursement limit for hospitalization?

  • Current Account holders: Up to Rs. 6,000/day

  • Savings Account holders: Up to Rs. 1,000/day


D. Online Transactions

Q18: How many free online transactions are allowed per month?

Two online transactions per month are free.

Q19: Is there a transaction amount limit?

Yes. Limits are defined in the SOC (Schedule of Charges).


E. Others

Q20: What is an e-SOA (e-Statement of Account)?

A bi-annual account statement sent free of cost to your registered email.
