To perform a transaction via the Branch POS facility, please follow these steps:

Dip or swipe your card at the POS terminal.

Enter the last 4 digits of your card number.

Enter your ATM PIN securely (do not share with anyone).

Select account type, if you have multiple linked accounts.

Choose the desired transaction from the menu.

For cash withdrawals, the system will print two slips:

Keep one for your record.

Sign and hand the second copy to the branch teller to receive your cash.

Do not leave the branch until you have received your cash.

If your withdrawal request is declined, obtain a “Transaction Decline Form – POS Terminal” from the teller.

In case of an error or declined transaction, notify branch staff immediately.

Never hand over your card to anyone, including branch staff.

This facility is available during branch visits at selected Allied Bank branches.

Q3: Are there any transaction limits on the ABL POS machine?
Yes. For cash withdrawals, the limits are:

Minimum: PKR 50,000

Maximum: PKR 100,000 per day
Note: There is no minimum transaction limit for Allied EZCash Prepaid Cardholders.
Q4: Is the ABL Branch POS facility available at all branches?
No. This service is available at selected Allied Bank branches only.

Q5: Is it necessary to visit your parent branch to use Branch POS?
No. Any ABL Debit or Prepaid Cardholder can perform transactions at any selected ABL branch offering the POS facility.
Q6: What are the prerequisites for using the ABL POS machine?

Possess an active ABL Debit or Prepaid Card
Q7: Is the POS transaction secure?
Yes. All transactions are secured with PIN authentication. Customers must swipe or dip their card and enter their ATM PIN to proceed.
Q8: How long does it take to process a POS transaction?
All transactions performed via ABL POS terminals are processed in real time.
Q9: How is the customer notified of a successful transaction?
A POS transaction slip is generated upon successful completion.
For cash withdrawals, two slips are printed:

One is for your record

The other must be signed and submitted to the branch teller to receive cash
Q10: Are there any charges for using the ABL POS facility?
Yes. Standard charges apply as per the Schedule of Charges (SOC).
Q11: Can Branch POS transactions be reversed?
If a cash withdrawal transaction is initiated and the customer requests a reversal before authorization, the branch teller can process the reversal.
Once the transaction is authorized or marked as paid, it cannot be reversed.
