To perform a transaction via the Branch POS Facility, please follow these steps:

  1. Dip or swipe your card at the POS terminal.

  2. Enter the last 4 digits of your card number.

  3. Enter your ATM PIN securely (do not share with anyone).

  4. Select account type, if you have multiple linked accounts.

  5. Choose the desired transaction from the menu.

  6. For cash withdrawals, the system will print two slips:

    • Keep one for your record.

    • Sign and hand the second copy to the branch teller to receive your cash.

  7. Do not leave the branch until you have received your cash.

  8. If your withdrawal request is declined, obtain a “Transaction Decline Form – POS Terminal” from the teller.

  9. In case of an error or declined transaction, notify branch staff immediately.

  • Never hand over your card to anyone, including branch staff.

  • Always check the transaction slip to verify details.

  • For service-related issues, contact branch staff or call Allied Phone Banking at 042-111-225-225.

  • Allied Phone Banking only calls customers from 1222 (within Pakistan).

Q1: What is the use of an ABL POS Machine?

The Branch POS terminal serves as a digital convenience channel for Allied Bank customers who wish to:

  • Perform high-limit cash withdrawals

  • Pay utility bills or other bills using their ABL ATM/Debit or Prepaid Card

Q2: What types of transactions can be performed using an ABL POS machine?

  • Cash Management (Cash Withdrawal)

  • Bill Payment (Utility bills, Telco, school fees, etc.)

  • Account Management (Balance Inquiry and Mini Statement)

Q3: Are there any transaction limits on the ABL POS machine?

Yes:

  • Minimum: PKR 50,000

  • Maximum: PKR 100,000 per day

  • Note: There is no minimum transaction limit for Allied EZCash Prepaid Cardholders.

Q4: Is the ABL Branch POS facility available at all branches?

No. This service is available only at selected Allied Bank branches.

Q5: Is it necessary to visit your parent branch to use Branch POS?

No. Any ABL Debit or Prepaid Cardholder can perform transactions at any selected ABL branch offering the POS facility.

Q6: What are the prerequisites for using the ABL POS machine?

You must:

  • Be an Allied Bank account holder

  • Possess an active ABL Debit or Prepaid Card

Q7: Is the POS transaction secure?

Yes. All transactions are secured with PIN authentication. You must swipe/dip your card and enter your ATM PIN.

Q8: How long does it take to process a POS transaction?

All transactions performed via ABL POS terminals are processed in real time.

Q9: How is the customer notified of a successful transaction?

A POS transaction slip is generated upon completion:

  • One slip is for your record

  • The other must be signed and submitted to the branch teller to receive your cash

Q10: Are there any charges for using the ABL POS facility?

Yes. Standard charges apply as per the Schedule of Charges (SOC).

Q11: Can Branch POS transactions be reversed?

  • If a cash withdrawal is initiated and reversed before authorization, the teller can process it.

  • Once the transaction is authorized or marked as paid, it cannot be reversed.
